Deepgram YouTube Demo

A Next.js based demo showing how you can transcribe a YouTube video using Deepgram.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Sign up to Deepgram and get $200 free credit (enough for hundreds of hours of audio).
Create a Deepgram API key.
Sign up to Supabase and create a new project.
Create a transcriptions database using this table definition. Row-level security is disabled, because there is no auth on the site.
Create a .env.local file based on .env.local.example using your supabase public URL, your supabase anon-key, and your DG api key.

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.

We can't currently deploy to Vercel, because we rely on tmpfs not available on Vercel deployments.
