How to run

git clone https://github.com/drakmail/react-native-appodeal-example.git
Install dependencies with yarn install
Run android version: yarn run android

Step by step integration instructions

If you want to integrate appodeal to you react-native Android application you need to do the following steps:

Add react-native-appodeal

You could use my fork of react-native-appodeal, which compiles and running on android. Just run yarn add https://github.com/drakmail/react-native-appodeal.git

Link dependencies

react-native link react-native-appodeal

Tune build.gradle

Open android/app/build.gradle and add somewhere in android section:

dexOptions {
  jumboMode = true
  javaMaxHeapSize "2g"
}

and enable multiDex option by adding following line inside defaultConfig section:

multiDexEnabled true

AndroidManifest.xml

According to appodeal documentation, you need to add following tags to your android/app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml file:

Usage

To use appodeal in react-native, you need to import package:

import Appodeal from 'react-native-appodeal'

Initialize it:

Appodeal.setTesting(true) // if you want to setup testing mode
Appodeal.init(YOUR_APPODEAL_API_KEY) // your API key

After that you could show banners:

Appodeal.showBannerBottom()

Pull Request Process

Ensure any install or build dependencies are removed before the end of the layer when doing a build.
Update the README.md with details of changes to the interface, this includes new environment variables, exposed ports, useful file locations and container parameters.
Increase the version numbers in any examples files and the README.md to the new version that this Pull Request would represent. The versioning scheme we use is SemVer.
You may merge the Pull Request in once you have the sign-off of two other developers, or if you do not have permission to do that, you may request the second reviewer to merge it for you.
