Contributing to Msfte
Msfte was developed in a client project where the Rails app was just a supporting actor to the Dotnet hero. It solved our problems pretty well, but it’s far from what I would like it to be. Unfortunately I don’t have access to MSSQL any more, so I can’t develop it further. If anyone else wants to pick up the gauntlet, I’d be happy to hand over the project.
Running the tests
In order to run the tests, you have to put the plugin in a Rails app. Set up the test tables and run the test by simply
cd vendor/plugins/msfte
rake test:setup
rake
The tests use the test database from the containing Rails project and create three tables whose names start with msfte_.
