Antibias is an extension designed to reduce bias in job applicant screening. It replaces LinkedIn profile photos with a unique pattern of geometric shapes and hides user names. This allows first impressions to form based on credentials and achievements–not superficial traits.

Chrome extension designed to reduce implicit bias by obfuscating profile names and images on LinkedIn.

Installation

  1. Open the Extension Management page by navigating to chrome://extensions.
  2. Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode.
  3. Click the LOAD UNPACKED button and select the extension directory.

Usage

Load a page to run the extension on the page, click the "b" icon to change the settings and toggle it on/off.
