issuu-dl_jpg

issuu-dl_jpg downloads documents from issuu.com. It downloads the document's pages in the jpg format under the title of the document. The document remains in numbered jpg format and it is not converted into PDF.

Usage

chmod +x ./issuu-dl_jpg.sh (to make it executable) and then 
./issuu-dl_jpg.sh  <whole url of the magazine/book on issuu.com>

example:
./issuu-dl_jpg.sh   https://issuu.com/user/docs/history_of_world

Information

• It downloads the document as numbered jpg files under the title of the document and remains as such, it is not converted into pdf (for better quality - management).
• It will retry to download pages if internet is disconnected
• The download speed is limited to 800kb.
• you may check man wget and tweak it inside issuu_dl_jpg.sh if you need extra control options of downloading
