I'm a disease ecologist working on a range of projects, spanning within-host ecoimmunology to global host-pathogen ecology. I have a few different foci:
- Spatial and social networks and their role in disease transmission and maintenance.
- The Verena Institute (viralemergence.org): an NSF-funded collaborative centre based at Georgetown, working to understand patterns of viral transmission involving animals.
- A range of side projects involving deer, badgers, birds, networks, space, disasters, and more
