This is a small recreational project I made for Furcadia to help identify stability issues among their servers before they become noticeable.
What it essentially does is keeping re-connecting to the server and asking it for details about its internal components while notifying of any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Python3
- Access to Furcadia characters with the "extended `which" capability
- Replace the sample.ini file from the ini/ directory with a working Furcadia character INI file
- Tweak monitor.py as necessary
- Start monitor.py as is via Python3 without any arguments
- Any alerts will be delivered through the STDERR so that this channel can be redirected to other *NIX tools
