What is it?

TICSeguro is an educational mobile application that teaches Information Security concepts to regular users (people who have no background in Computer Science or related fields).

How was it built?

This app was built using Android Studio, Java, and XML.

How can I run it?

TICSeguro is now available in the Google Play Store!

Click here to go to the Google Play Store, read the app's profile, and install it.

Another way of running the app is to download the app-debug.apk file and install it on an Android phone (Android 6.0 or above is required), or you can download this project, open it using Android Studio and run the app using an emulator.

Why is it named like that?

  • TIC stands for Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (Information and Communications Tecnologies)
  • Seguro means "safe", symbolizing the importance of protecting our digital assets.
