Increased resource limits for STAGEs to reduce website crashes
We are happy to announce that Streamlit has agreed to increase the resource limits for STAGEs main webpage (https://kuanrongchan-stages-stages-vpgh46.streamlit.app/), from 1GB to 8GB. This should help prevent website crashes. If you have used STAGEs for your research, we would greatly appreciate if you could cite our publication:
Koh, C.W.T., Ooi, J.S.G., Ong, E.Z. et al. STAGEs: A web-based tool that integrates data visualization and pathway enrichment analysis for gene expression studies. Sci Rep 13, 7135 (2023). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-023-34163-2
Meanwhile, if you have faced any issues with STAGEs, please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to develop more of such webtools in the near future.
STAGEs now has a mirror website link
Due to the high traffic and resource-intensive queries in STAGEs, some users may experience crashes. We have thus created a mirror website (https://kohcl17-stages-mirror-stages-zvg7qu.streamlit.app/) so that users can continue using the webtool even if the main website is down. We will continue to monitor the app and have periodic reboot of the app to reduce such incidences. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and will continue to work on reducing the downtime for STAGEs.
