Slackvim is .vim designed for Ruby (on Rails) developer and Slackware Linux

Installation¶ ↑

1. Clone this repo into your home directory either as .vim (linux/mac) or vimfiles (Windows):

   git clone git://github.com/kuntoaji/slackvim.git ~/.vim

2. Then ‘cd’ into the repo and run vundle-updater:

   cd ~/.vim
   ruby bin/vundle-updater.rb

3. Copy as _vimrc (Windows) in your home directory. In Mac or Linux, the easiest thing to do is create symbolic link:

   % ln -s ~/.vim/vimrc ~/.vimrc

How To Update¶ ↑

cd ~/.vim
git pull origin master

or

cd ~/.vim
ruby bin/vundle-updater.rb
vim +BundleInstall +qall (or Launch vim, run :BundleInstall)
