- CMD is just sitting there
- CMD is stuck on waiting-for-device
- My Kindle is stuck on the Booted Successfully screen
######Solution:

Open the Windows Device Manager with the Kindle plugged in

Find Kindle in the device list

Right-Click ADB Driver (beneath Kindle)

Select update driver

In the Pop-up window select Browse

Select Pick-from-list
-
Find and select ADB Composite
-
Re-install this driver
-
Once this is done try the mod you were attempting again and it should work

This is an Amazon bug. The easiest option to solve this issue is to download a rotation control app.
