SNAP Survey Network Adjustment Package

Welcome to the SNAP wiki!

SNAP stands for "Survey Network Adjustment Package". SNAP is used to calculate survey mark coordinates based on observations to them. It is tailored for use in New Zealand, in particular for using a deformation model to combine data from different dates. However most of the SNAP functionality is generally applicable.

SNAP can be built from this code but see the disclaimers and warnings in the README file. This software may currently be in an inconsistent state at any particular commit, so should only be built from tagged versions. For Windows installations it is recommended to use the installation packages available from the LINZ website.
