Following the mock up from http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/11770.

This should cover the steps that produce a .par file (which contains at least the Difc and zero outputs from algorithm ``.

@FedeMPouzols (2015-05-18T11:39:00):
(In #12608) I've added an ENGINX-X directory in the docs repo: https://github.com/mantidproject/documents/tree/master/Design/ENGIN-X.

Inside the GUI subdirectory there's a couple of mockups for the 'home' and 'settings' tabs of the first simple gui that generates .par files.

I also plan to add a quick list of file formats, algorithms, programs, etc. in the readme or a small markdown file.

This GUI will be a 'CustomInterface' and to be on the safe side we'll follow a Model-View-Presenter pattern and have tests from the beginning.

In the custom interfaces menu of mantid this will go under 'Diffraction' => 'Engineering Diffraction Analysis'.

The final write of the GSAS calibration file would fail on windows if the output folder is a network share like \\olympic\babylon because of multiple double back-slashes being inserted - and some of them misinterpreted as escape sequences.
