got is a simple shell script that'll let you know if a given process is running, and provide you with the relevant details if it is.
$ got synergy?
PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
739 ?? S 0:50.20 /Users/krhodes/Applications/synergy-1.3.1/synergyc -f usma1uw-1NRPNH1
The question mark is optional, as is typing in the full name of the process. As you can see in the example above, I typed in synergy but I got synergc.
"But, I could just type ps -AH S | grep synergy"
Yes, yes you could. But "got synergy" is a lot shorter, and makes more sense.
I'm sure some of will know some 1337 ways to improve this. Please do. :)
