MathJax v2.3 will be a small font-focused release.
- Create webfonts for various open source fonts
- STIX
- Asana
- NeoEuler
- Latin Modern
- Create fontdata of new fonts for use with MathJax
- all newly created webfonts
- How about Lucida Sans, Apple symbol fonts, Arial unicode? pkra: probably not this time around?
- enabling webfonts in native MathML output on Firefox.
- Improve MathJax fonts
- improve character coverage
- via javascript tricks

- Testing the quality of the conversion process
- Testing the rendering quality via the test suite.

- Are we facing licensing issues?
- E.g., if the SIL open font license is used we have to get permission to keep the name, perferrably by contributing back (as we do for STIX) or else create a new name.
