In Matlab we can change attributes for curves. It is very comfortable when you prepare picture for publishing.

What do you mean by changing curves?

Presumably the example found in event_handling/path_editor.py? Either way, this is a long way off and untouched for 4 years - I'd suggest we close this. @efiring / @mdboom - how do you stand on closing issues which are such obvious nice to haves, but which just don't make it up to the high priority development activities?

I think this probably relates more to something like the qt4 editor, which we do have (as long as one is using Qt4).

We don't really have a policy about these sorts of things. Maybe we create a Wiki page alongside the MEPs for "grand plans that it would be nice to develop a MEP for" and/or "good Google Summer of Code ideas"...

Good idea. Lets do that and keep the issue tracker for issues.

It's really not clear what this is about--maybe about the qt4 editor, maybe not.
@pelson, I'm for closing issues whenever possible. I closed a bunch during the SF-Github transfer, but unfortunately I was out of sync with Darren, who did the transfer, so a lot of stuff I had filtered out got transferred anyway. I suspect this was one of those. We also lost a lot of context in that transfer. All the more reason to simply close as many as possible of the old ones; we reduce clutter and probably lose little if any useful information.
