Figures in http://matplotlib.org/users/colormaps.html require scikit-image to build #3442

I don't see any figures on http://matplotlib.org/users/colormaps.html. They are present in my local build of the documentation.

And linkchecker does not spot this because the link not added to the html when the figure is not build.

ah, the problem is that those scripts depend on scikit-image which I didn't have installed in the environment where I built the docs.

This is a bit of a hitch for building the docs on travis, but I suspect solvable via some .travis.yml trickery.

Moved to 1.4.x and re-named as this is a documentation of doc-build-process/travis issue.

I have updated the live docs (hopefully, have not refreshed for me yet).
