I was unable to connect to my device, everytime I ran:

/utv007_driver.py -d /dev/video1

I got:

I managed to get past this by removing the exit() call in easycap_utv007.py line 101. I am not sure what the real fix is and I am happy to supply any further information. I hope this will help anyone else having trouble starting up.
