For dynamically linking this works:
--with-mysql-capi=/usr/bin/mysql_config
However this doesn't work:
--with-mysql-capi=/usr/bin/mysql_config --static
This does work:
--with-mysql-capi=/opt/mysql/8.0.13 --static
But that expects libs to be under
<path>/lib
and headerson
<path>/include
But the mysql-community-devel RPM puts these here:
/usr/include/mysql
/usr/lib64/mysql
This commit makes it possible to use
mysql_config
togetherwith
--static
to make it possible to compile staticallywhen using the RPM instead of a tarball install of MySQL.
