I was going to do a "MPs can't claim second home if they can reasonably commute" but then I remembered we have the accommodation policy, so I've tightened that up.

No I disagree. MPs should be able to own a home wherever they want in their constituency or otherwise, but should never be able to claim for it. I think all MPs, regardless of constituency (yes even London MPs) should have access to a suite provided within the same block of flats within walking distance of Parliament. This would cater for late night sessions and would cut down on late night taxis, last minute hotel claims to which they are currently entitled if finishing late (1am I think?). It would be like the Olympic village but for MPs. 👎
