This is my attempt to set out a vision for our democracy policy (as it stands) at the top of the page. If this is accepted, we should follow suit on all pages to provide an easy summary for people to read first.

Nice summing up of all our policies thus far. It gets a 👍 but with the caveat that this may put off other new policy ideas that disagree with this Vision, which (if I understand correctly) is not what we want as anything and everything should be thrown into the ring for discussion.

👍 excellent summary and to deal with @PaulJRobinson's point perhaps in the contributing info we should remind folks to consider whether they need to update the page summary as part of their proposals?
