Subsequent governments have obtained power promising to protect the NHS and broken those promises. The only way to secure the NHS is to take it out of the hands of politicians.

Do we need to lose the first paragraph, which sort of enshrines it as a public health service, not a privatised one?

My thinking there was that that point should be a job for the constitutional convention, and that we ought to trust the selected citizens to enshrine a free NHS into that constitution. Happy to consider edits in that though.

Yeah, I get that, but somehow it doesn't seem to state enough of our position on it. Dunno. Will see what others thing. In general, I'm a 👍 though.
