Making headway with the entry and display of Arabic in papyri.info
We would like to have a link to send the user back to the APD presentation of the text in question.
Using the filename in the apd files sent from APD e.g.
https://github.com/jcowey/apd.data/blob/master/apd_text/Grohmann_Apercu_p_41.xml#L11
which is turned into a <idno type=”APD”>Grohmann_Apercu_p_41</idno>
in
https://github.com/papyri/idp.data/blob/master/DDB_EpiDoc_XML/sb/sb.6/sb.6.9576.xml#L19
I would like to use the content of the <idno type=”APD”> tag in order to build a link back to the relevant APD text.
To be surfaced under “related sources” like GLRT
e.g.

this is to allow us to declare Arabic as the prioritised OR only language of the file entered

we have

if we were to change to
<div xml:lang="ara" type="edition" xml:space="preserve"><ab>
and then use <foreign xml:lang=”grc”> in the lines where Greek is used
the Editor refused to validate
At present it validates because grc is declared as the “main” language.

it should be (in LTR terms: the “closing sqare bracket” at the “end” of the line should be an “opening square bracket” at the “beginning” of the line):
