This repo has a Containerfile that you can use to put Pintail in a container. To build your own local container image, try this:
podman build -t pintail .
To use this local container image, do this in a repo with a pintail.cfg
file:
podman run -i -v $(pwd):/pintail -w /pintail localhost/pintail pintail build -v
You don't have to build the container image yourself. Just use the one on Docker Hub:
podman run -i -v $(pwd):/pintail -w /pintail docker.io/shaunmccance/pintail pintail build -v
If you're Shaun, do this to upload to Docker Hub:
podman build -t docker.io/shaunmccance/pintail:latest .
podman push docker.io/shaunmccance/pintail:latest
All of this should work with Docker instead of Podman. Just make sure the daemon is running and you run the commands with root privs.
Shaun is not a container expert and would appreciate feedback.
