Running Perl post processing scripts on Windows from Slic3r PE 1.42 and newer

Since the Slic3r PE 1.42 and newer are no more based on the Perl runtime, the Perl interpreter is not bundled with the Slic3r PE binary packages for Windows. For those who strongly believe that Perl will never die, we have bundled the Perl binary distribution based on the Slic3r PE 1.41.2 runtime, to be installed into Slic3r 1.42 and newer as an optional package.

Please download perl-5.24.0-for-Slic3rPE-32bit.zip or perl-5.24.0-for-Slic3rPE-64bit.zip and unpack it into the Slic3r PE binary directory (this is the directory where you will find your with Slic3r.exe). If Slic3r PE encounters a perl script (a script with the .pl extension), it will try to process it with perl\perl.exe searched for relative to the Slic3r.exe installation path.
