ActiveAsset is a Rack application that can process any kind of file on-the-fly, currently files can only be stored in a mongodb database.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'active_asset'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install active_asset
