googledocs

This is a very rough version of a plugin to integrate google documents into redmine. The plugin is currently based on a single client login through the gdata api.

The plugin works by listing, creating, and deleting documents in the global google docs account. Each project in redmine defines a top-level folder in google docs. Each document category then defines a sub-folder in the projects top-level folder. Documents can then be created listed, edited (using google docs and iframes), and deleted through redmine.

To install the plugin, checkout the code and place in vendor/plugins. Then edit line 183 in googledocs_controller.rb and add your google docs email and password: @client.clientlogin(‘your_google_email’, ‘your_password’)

In the redmine permissions enable permissions for the plugin. The plugin is project specific, so then go to the project settings and modules and enable the plugin.

This should create a Google Docs tab in the project menu. Clicking on the tab will bring up a list of existing documents and a link to create a new document.
