image

This release of SCP Wallet contains our fourth patch release for Aeternum; as a precautionary measure to prevent abuse, the shared nft.storage API key was removed. A new settings section was added that allows SCP-4 token developers to provide their own nft.storage API key.

In addition to this StakeCube is now running local IPFS nodes which re-pin SCP-4 tokens to IPFS to ensure the integrity of SCP-4 token data. Checkout SCP-4-Pinning if you want to see how this service works.

This update is mandatory for SCP-4 token developers.

⚡ The highlights of this update:

  • Developer Settings, developer settings can now be found under the Developer section of the settings
  • Developer IPFS API Key, a per developer API key gives SCP-4 token creators more control over their creations

📄 Note for SCP-4 token developers:

As the shared nft.storage API key has been removed, in the settings an API key must be provided by developers to upload NFTs to IPFS. Getting an API key is as simple as creating an account on nft.storage and creating the key.
