install these snippets under the markdown-mode snippets directory in your YASnippets installation. these may be placed directly in the markdown-mode direectory or within a subdirectory.
depending on how your YASnippet configuration is setup this may require
issuing a yas/reload-all or restarting emacs in order to pick up
the additions.
