Welcome to JSCover

Why JSCover

At least on GitHub, which is the most active open source repository, JavaScript is clearly the top programming language (since at least 2013). It seems the tool-set and popularity of JavaScript is growing and JSCover fills a gap left by JSCoverage.

History

I used JSCoverage for several years, but had trouble with the server version when Windows 7 came out. When I found the project could no longer be maintained, I investigated supporting it, then I investigated replacing it with Rhino, but found a few bugs. Around mid 2012, I noticed most of these bugs were fixed, and so completed the fixes and began development, initially in Mercurial on a USB, and the result is JSCover.
