The DiffuseCode provides software to create disordered structures and to calculate their diffraction pattern. In the current version, the main program is called DISCUS_SUITE.

The DISCUS_SUITE provides an interface to three individual sections:

• The DISCUS section lets you create essentially any type of crystal structure with an emphasis on disordered structures. To this aim DISCUS provides an extensive set of toolboxes to create and modify a crystal structure.
• The KUPLOT section provides a drawing and data manipulation program.
• The DIFFEV section provides the generic population based optimizer to refine your structure against experimental data.
