Hi,

Thank you very much for volunteering for the EPUBCheck project.

The EPUBCheck project is a part of the W3C EPUB3 Community Group and is managed by their "EPUBCheck" TaskFoce.

You don't have to participate in the Community Group, but you can sign up at no cost to stay up to date about other EPUB related work items. However, we recommend you sign up for the separate EPUBCheck Mailing List (public-epubcheck@w3.org) by sending an email with subject "subscribe" to public-epubcheck-request@w3.org or manage your subscription at this page. All the EPUBCheck work is discussed on this Mailing List and in our GitHub issue tracker.

To get started, please take a look at the WorkPlan wiki page as it lists current tasks and work items and helps you to familiarize with the current state of the project.

If you are a developer please also take a look at the Contribute and wiki page. You may also want to familiarize with the Java code and take a look at the Build, Library and Process wiki pages.

If you want to help improve the EPUBCheck translations please take a look at the Translating wiki page.

If you have knowledge in EPUB core technologies but aren't a developer you can help us for example with day-to-day issue triaging. The WorkPlan wiki page lists some details about it.

If you have any questions, don't hestitate to contact us directly or via the Mailing List.

Once again, thank you very much for helping to improve the EPUBCheck project.

Kind regards,
The EPUBCheck team
