#XLE Layer Diagram

In software engineering, the physical design of a system refers to how the compile-time parts fit together. For a large codebase, physical design is particularly important. So XLE takes particular care to preset a well designed physical design.

The highest level of the design determines how different libraries within the system fit together and cooperate. It's really important that this top level physical design works well. I'll mention some of the advantages below.
