The goal of openwater
is to provide R bindings for the
OpenWater
Application programming interface
(API)
You can install openwater
from
GitHub with:
remotes::install_github("Saint-Louis-University/openwater")
There are two pieces of information necessary to access and use the API:
- API Key
- per user API authentication credentials
- Can be generated by an OpenWater admin user under OpenWater > System Settings > Permissions
- copy to your .Renviron file under the variable name
OPENWATER_API_KEY
- Domain
- the domain of your specific OpenWater instance
- for example “demo.secure-platform.com”
- copy to your .Renviron file under the variable name
