IMPORTANT: Version 15.5 or later is required in order to install the package in Visual Studio 2017.
This package contains a Visual Studio editor extension that checks the spelling of comments, strings, and plain text as you type, interactively with a tool window, or for an entire solution, project, or selected items with a tool window. Extra options are available to control how elements and attributes in XML and MAML files are spell checked and various other options. A code analyzer is available for Visual Studio 2019 and later that spell checks identifiers in C# source code.
