open-sauced/actions

This is a collection of actions that power various features within Open Sauced.

opensauced-admin

This action is powered by the OPEN_SAUCED_APP_ID (installed on all goal repos) and updates the contents of the data.json files with the newest data every Wednesday and Saturday.

Not meant for 3rd party usage outside this repository.

example usage:

jobs:
  admin-sauce:
    name: run update
    runs-on: ubuntu-latest
    steps:
    - uses: actions/checkout@v2

deploy updates Use @vercel/ncc to compile your code and modules into one file used for distribution.

Install vercel/ncc by running this command in your terminal. npm i -g @vercel/ncc

Compile your update-open-sauced-goals-cache.js file.

cd goals-caching
ncc build update-open-sauced-goals-cache.js --license licenses.txt

You'll see a new dist/index.js file with your code and the compiled modules. You will also see an accompanying dist/licenses.txt file containing all the licenses of the node_modules you are using.

From your terminal, commit the updates to your action.yml, dist/index.js, and node_modules files.

git dist/index.js
git commit -m "updated vercel/ncc"
git tag -a -m "My first action release" v1.1
