Getting started with investing and personal finance can be intimidating. And, there is an overwhelming list of options to choose from. But, investing should be a skill everyone should acquire. Yoink! is here to make learning about investing interesting and fun to do.
Yoink! is a paper trading application that is used as an educational tool to get started in the world of investment and personal finance. With Yoink!, you can dive into stocks and portfolios whether you are 16 or 60.
Yoink! is free to use. As a guest, you can watch the stock ticker scroll, use the currency converter, search for stocks on the exchange, read relevant stock news, and learn about investing. As a registered user, you can login using the IdaaS, Auth0, where you will be redirected to the Home Page containing links to your Profile and Portfolio. Your Profile page will contain your email, name, the privacy status and picture (if you uploaded one). In your Portfolio, you can create at least one investment account where you set the amount of imaginary, paper money (in dollars) that you want to invest and the stocks you want to buy and sell. You will be able to track your trades within the portfolio.
