Win11-Postinstall-Script

A script to install essential applications and debloat Windows 11.

Usage

  1. Download the install.bat file.
  2. Run the script as a regular user. Accept admin permissions when prompted, this will only install programs
  3. Run the script again as admin this will debloat Windows 11

If you only want to debloat, manually install Git and run the install.bat file as an administrator.

Applications Installed

This script installs the following applications:

  1. WinSCP - SFTP client
  2. PuTTY - SSH client
  3. Git - Command-line Git client
  4. Discord - A "Group chat that’s all fun & games"
  5. IntelliJ IDEA - Java development IDE
  6. DataGrip - JetBrains database management tool
  7. Arc - Browser (considering switching to Firefox)
  8. Java - Programming language
  9. JDK 7 & JDK 17 - For Minecraft mod development
  10. Visual Studio Code - Code editor
  11. Visual Studio - IDE (required by various tools)
  12. GeForce Experience - NVIDIA graphics drivers and utilities
  13. Lunar Client - Minecraft client
  14. Rust - Programming language
  15. PowerToys - Microsoft’s suite for power users
  16. OBS - Recording/streaming software
  17. Notion - Notes and task management
  18. VirtualBox - Virtualization software
  19. WinDirStat - Disk usage analysis tool
  20. WireGuard - VPN client
  21. Python 3.12 - Programming language
  22. Logitech G Hub - Software for Logitech hardware
  23. Telegram - Basically if you're doing shady shit
  24. Rufus - USB flashing tool
  25. Steam - Gaming platform
  26. Bun - A Node.js alternative
  27. NVM - Node.js version manager
  28. Node.js - For when Bun isn’t enough
