In VR it is not bad. It's obviously not a real looking tree, but neither was the low poly version. Might be worth exploring the middle poly options now.

Nice! Hey tell you what I´m behind in the task of upgrading my trees. I´ll add palms for good measure to. When they are ready I´ll share them with you.

Yep those trees are made for large quantities of trees in "forest like setups". I think you need a higher poly version for "urban" or "standalone" settings. I´ll check some options.

To avoid this try to use an alphavalue of 0.05

Thanks for all the feedback @EX3D! Upgraded tree models would definitely be welcome whenever you get to it. This is already going in the right direction, and the alphatest tip worked great!
