I am duplicating the Discord server post here, so people can use this issue to post their Machine addition requests in order to have them all in one place.

Write most machines requested on GitHub requested machines up here so I can pin this and close the issues:

You might want to turn the list into a checklist (add [ ] after each bullet), for easier tracking of what is done, as well as pin the issue so that people would (hopefully) notice it and post here instead of creating new issues.

Hi do you know when all of these rom files will be able to use on 86box? If not can you please let me know when you can get to this task?

Is it too late to request another one? Not really a machine per se but a motherboard:

That kind of reply is uncalled for. We just want a general roadmap we don't/aren't asking for exact dates as we know different things can get in the way but having no road map people just wind up wasting unnecessary gas.

Edit: Whomever gave the thumbs down totally took what I said out of context. Typical modern web. (Mutters about dumb....)

Sometimes keyboard input randomly drops on different machines where it would work one time but may not work another then restarting main PC seems to fix it until it happens again. Workable but annoying solution.

Edit: I think someone from my long deleted Reddit account is stalking me giving me downvotes and to that person why make all that effort? Do you have nothing better to do if so that's one sad pathetic life just to make an account so you can downvote someone you don't like.

Could you please add [PC 3270 (aka IBM 5271)]
I believe Borland had driver for it in all versions of Turbo Pascal/Turbo C++ so it would be a nice addition to 86Box.

Note: The PC 3270 is just an IBM 5160 with an IBM 3270 terminal card installed, atleast at this moment in time, I see no benefit to adding emulation for this.

Thank you for the answer, but point of interest is not the machine itself, but its graphics card.

IBM 5271 (3270 PC) "The display card in this PC (I've never seen its name abbreviated, but it would be a 3270PCDA) occupies both CGA and MDA address space (plus bits of the VGA framebuffer). The only possible dualhead configuration would be to have a PGC with its CGA emulation turned off. You could end up with a PC containing 5 full-length display cards!" [1]

Also, the keyboard has 122 keys (including F13-F24)

Since Sanyo MBC-25 PLUS is a pseudo-XT using 286, I can guess Citygate d30 is a clone of its chipset, C&T 82C230. (I just hope Hedaka HED-919 could be revived.) And how about IBM PS/2 Model 30 (8086) since C&T 82C230 is 100% compatible of IBM one?

Well this is the last 80286 machines I have, the Intel 286 clone BIOS, and the Sanyo MBC-17 PLUS BIOS.
BIOS/ZIP file:
Intel 286 clone and Sanyo MBC-17 PLUS ROMs.zip
(NOTE: Some 2 BIOS files include a readme file before you can check at the BIOS ROMs, plus the Sanyo MBC-17 PLUS folder has included a reference disk.)

The Intel 286 clone BIOS is downloaded on TheRetroWeb, over here:
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/intel-173817-bios-marking

While the Sanyo MBC-17 PLUS BIOS is downloaded at:
https://forum.classic-computing.de/forum/index.php?thread/15558-roms-bios-f%C3%BCr-sanyo-mbc17plus/&pageNo=4

It says:
[so, it's a "semi-AT" clone, as it's a 286 @ 12.5 MHz, but with only 8-bit isa slot. but got an onboard ide xt interface, and VGA. it's really a compromised machine...
I got it with original manuals, dos floppy, keyboard, and his box. it's a nice looking little PC, from my personal taste.]

It said it's a semi-AT clone, then why is it a pseudo-XT? Because of the onboard XT Western Digital IDE controller?

So it's not a AMI BIOS, it is a Microtec BIOS, screenshot using the AMI IBM AT configuration:

I think it's a BIOS modified by Microtec since the messages are in Portuguese.

From here, it claims to be an Unicorn ENDAT-286xx, which does have an AMI BIOS judging from the motherboard photos.

I'd like to get the HP Brio 8314 working, considering I have real hardware and am actively reverse-engineering stuff on it:

hpbrio8314-bioses.zip

It's an i440EX+PIIX4(E?)-based Slot 1 system with an onboard S3Trio64V2/DX (86C775) with 2 MB of VRAM (4x V53C16258HK35, 256Kx16 per chip). There are 3 PCI slots, 3 ISA slots, 1 AGP slot, and 2 slots for PC66 RAM (maybe PC100). One PCI slot and one ISA slot apparently share resources somehow so you can only have one or the other in that case.

The Super I/O chipset is an SMC FDC37C675. The 440EX chipset pair is an 82443EX AGPset and an 8231EB PCIset.

HP's user documentation says the RAM only goes up to 128 MB of RAM spread over 2 DIMMs, but I have a single PC133 256MB DIMM and it seems to work... but booting the thing does take an annoyingly long time.

As far as connectivity goes, there are apparently also 2 USB ports, and it uses UHCI.

The attached BIOSes are what I have on that machine. TheRetroWeb does have a later BIOS as part of a BIOS update (1998-04-16) which from what I can tell is suitable for this machine. The one I have attached is from 1998-02-12. We do happen to have a 2.04.11 video BIOS, but the one I have is 2.04.07 - and this one is NOT modified by ASUS, it may actually be stock!

Prior to getting this machine usable, I did have a go using the BIOS update on TheRetroWeb, but it hung on POST code 38 and I couldn't work out where to go next with that one. I'll try with the older BIOS anyway.

PCI dump: (and yes the S3 graphics chip ignores the PCI function number so it appears 8 times, which from glancing at the source code may be correctly emulated already)

00:00.0 = 8086:7180 06000003 Host bridge
00:01.0 = 8086:7181 06040003 PCI-to-PCI bridge, normal decode

00:14.4 = 5333:8901 03000016 Ditto
00:14.5 = 5333:8901 03000016 Ditto
00:14.6 = 5333:8901 03000016 Ditto
00:14.7 = 5333:8901 03000016 Ditto

I don't have any PCI devices plugged in, so all those devices are built-in.

( OEM ) Motherboards to be added in the next version of 86box :

@headsetguy37

@evok410icfw2k8 If I understand correctly, the i810 and i815 chipsets are currently out of scope for 86Box (ICH2 is under its own branch), so the HP Hawk and the Compaq Deskpro EN SFF probably won't happen for a long time. The SiS 620 chipset is also not currently emulated, but there is a datasheet available for it; not sure if that would be out of scope or not. In other words, the MES-VM is a question mark.
