課題概要

1. 課題のデータセットに対して分類器を作成してください

• A3RTのTextClassificationAPIを超えるレベルを目標とします。ベンチマークとしてTextClassificationでモデルを作成し、ご自身のモデルとの比較を行ってください。

2. 12/9(日)までにテストデータに対する分類精度を提出してください

3. 12/10(月)に取り組み内容の発表をお願いします

• 分類器の概要
• 工夫した点
• TextClassificationAPIとの比較考察

• 分類精度は成績には影響しません
• 分類精度の評価は基本的に正解率で行います

Group Work Instructions

1. Develop your own classifier for the given dataset

• The goal is to beat TextClassificationAPI of A3RT in a text classificaiton task. Compare your own classification model with that by TextClassificationAPI, as a benchmark.

2. Submit your group's classification accuracy on the test data until 9th December (Sun.), by an e-mail.

3. Make a presentation about what your group did for this task, on 10th December (Mon.)

• Brief summary of your group's text classifier
• Remarkable points
• Discussion on the comparison with TextClassificationAPI

What you have to develop/make

1. Your own text classifier
2. Evaluation results on the test data (due 12/9): by e-mail to Misa Tanaka
3. Presentation slides (for the classes on 12/10)

Schedule on 12/10

1. Show the rankings in classification accuracy by RTC
2. Presentations by all groups, from lowest-ranked to highest-ranked ones.
3. Comments by RTC

Note

• The performance and ranking of the classifier does not affect your grade.
• The evaluation metric of the classification is basically in accuracy.
