Followed the instructions from
docs/INSTALL.md
and installedllvm-12
accordingly.$ sudo apt-get install -y lld-12 llvm-12 llvm-12-dev clang-12
When tried to build, got the below message, and thus, afl-clang-lto was not built.
But,
llvm-*-12
binaries were present in/usr/bin/
after installationHowever,
GNUmakefile.llvm:42
LLVM_CONFIG ?= llvm-config
for non OpenBSD systems.GNUmakefile.llvm:52
LLVM_HAVE_LTO = $(shell $(LLVM_CONFIG) --version 2>/dev/null | egrep -q '^1[1-9]' && echo 1 || echo 0 )
- this shall result 0 becausellvm-config
is not present in the prefix paths mentioned in the script.GNUmakefile.llvm:96
althoughllvm-config-12
andllvm-lto-12
are present in/usr/bin/
Any quick work around for this, please ?
