Patch Notes

This update is some well-needed TLC to the installer and adds compatibility with the latest NeoGPT-based version of AID2: Clover Edition. There have been small improvements here and there to dialogs, error checking, and the speed of installation, but overall this update should keep things ticking for some time to come. As always, issues and PRs welcome!

Features

• Transformers replaced with finetuneanon's NeoGPT version
• CUDA & CUDNN installs merged (fewer install boxes)
• Python upgraded from 3.7 to 3.8
• Miniconda updated from 4.7.12 to 4.9.2
• Splash page README updated to have more up-to-date information on Clover Edition
• Various minor tweaks and adjustments to dialogs & install processes

Bug Fixes

• Installer no longer suicides when trying to install the latest version of Clover Edition
• Beta references within the install have been removed
• Various outdated packages now installed as the latest version (no more botocore errors!)
• Invalid Miniconda install directory changed

AID2 Clover Edition Installer v1.3

Patch Notes

Another small update to iron out a few dependency bugs introduced by pip's default install version changing. Additionally, the README has gotten a little TLC to hopefully make it clearer.

AID2 Clover Edition Installer v1.2

Patch Notes

Mostly a fixing things patch, but support for installing prompt-toolkit has now been added! This package, should you choose to install it, provides a number of advanced display/manipulation features for Command Prompt that Clover Edition can make use of. Of course, if you'd rather not bloat the install, the game will still run just fine using readline like it always has.

• Installer will no longer hang when launching torrent installs on clients that wait for downloading to finish before confirming a successful execution

Nothing too important, just a small patch to bring the installer into line with recent changes to Clover Edition's codebase.

AID2 Clover Edition Installer v1.0

Official release of installer

At this point the installer is web-based, and no longer needs me to manually update it between every commit pushed out by Clover Edition. With that, the installer's completed uninstaller, rebuilt descriptions, numerous smaller tweaks, and bug-fixes for edge cases, I am comfortable with pushing out a proper release for everybody to download and run.

The steps really can't get any simpler for this one:

Download the installer from the Assets list below
Run the installer
Select any optional features to be installed alongside the game
Hurry up and wait

And that's it, you're done! You've successfully installed AI Dungeon 2: Clover Edition and you didn't even have to ask about what a PATH is in the thread.
