An application is registered by the OPC UA Server on the OPC UA Discovery Server. The OPC UA Discovery Server will be notified of the following information.

  • ApplicationUri
  • ProductUri
  • ApplicationName
  • DiscoveryUrl
  • GatewayServerUri

An OPC UA Server can start several applications. All applications can use the same OPC UA Endpoint. In this casem multiple applications must be registered with the OPC UA Discovery Server. This is currently not possible.
