I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits
What would your feature do ?
Have an option to download all files that could be requested by an extension or Automatic1111 before their use. Then have an option to block further downloads.
I recognize this is some real work, but it could add security benefits to the program (see below).
Proposed workflow
Go to Settings
Go to offline mode
Choose download all resources
Choose enter offline mode
No further online events would occur.
Additional information
I don’t want to have to rely on having access to the Internet when I use Automatic1111. Additionally, I want to be able to evaluate all files being downloaded from a security perspective, and/or put them in another drive and symbolically link to them. Great example of an offending extension is Controlnet, which lets you manually download some files for it, but downloads others as you begin to use it.
