Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I find the current white theme a bit hard on the eyes to work with for any length of time.

Describe the solution you'd like
Maybe a theme toggle on the settings page for a dark or light theme.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I haven't looked at editing local CSS but it would get over-written on update anyway so I'm not sure there's an easy fix locally.

Additional context
It's been a while since I updated my local copy - my local copy runs with a black background. Obviously it's been updated since then to a white background which can be a bit bright to use for a long period of time.

I currently use an extension to force websites into dark mode even if they're not coded for it.
It should also work for the web UI:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh?hl=en
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/darkreader/

Might be an option to override it locally for you.

Thank you - I'll check it out.

Adding ?__theme=dark at the end of the gradio URL will force the dark theme
