False positive antivirus alerts 杀毒软件误报病毒

There has been reports saying this project contains virus, which I believe it's just false alarm.

🔗So here is a virus scan result from virustotal.com.
🔗And more scan results form other Virus Scan websites.

As you can see, on virustotal.com, only 3 of 69 security vendors flagged this file (Waifu2x-Extension-GUI.exe v3.73.02-beta) as malicious. And other Virus Scan websites have reported that Waifu2x-Extension-GUI.exe does NOT contain any threats.

So I'm pretty sure this is a False positive.

Some security software just randomly flag small software projects like this as "unsafe" only because they cannot recognize them, it's kinda annoying and irresponsible, but there isn't much I can do about this.

You can upload the program you downloaded to virustotal.com and see the result by yourself.
