I have never seen this effect in Classic theme, I am not sure about other themes.

I did it intentionally (as if there are two applications are open, one is active and the other is not).

Active:

ActiveApp_Taskbar AppPreview

Inactive:

InactiveApp_Taskbar AppPreviewInActive

But this does not reflect how the theme behaves in reality...

The only point is that there are two applications.
I know that there is conflict between icons colors and selected colors, so I can change both into two colorful icons.
