Whenever AdGuard is on, I can't see the resources in a resource group in Azure Cloud. This issue is recent (few months old) that I have raised with Adguard and have advised to follow these steps to report. Nothing seems to be solving this issue unless I disable Adguard.

Also, on a similar note, this happens across all browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Opera).

PS: I've modified the URL to exclude sensitive information such as Azure subscription and Azure tenant name.

@PA1138 Hello! Unfortunately, I have not able to reproduce this behavior of the page with your settings. Which filter causes that issue?

All filters actually.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have undertaken.

  1. Disabled each filter one by one and retry (also disabling/enabling AdGuard after each rule being disabled)
  2. Disabled stealth mode in its entirety
  3. Disabled DNS protection
  4. Disabled Extension

All resulted in the same error where resources in an Azure Resource Group will not appear and resulted in the error that I have attached (screenshot in original post)

  1. I have removed Edge from filtered applications - That's when it worked as it should.

So, the workaround is to either remove Edge from the filtered applications, or entirely disable AdGuard.

I have accidentally "resolved" the issue. But I wouldn't call it a fix.

If using AdGuard VPN at the same time, this issue doesn't appear. So, @jellizaveta if you've tried to reproduce the issue while connected through AdGuard VPN (pure speculation), disable it and try again[?]

PS: No other VPN were running when the issue is experienced, only AdGuard.

@PA1138 hmmmm
Could you please add:

@@||browser.events.data.microsoft.com^
@@||js.monitor.azure.com^

to the User Rules.
Clear browser cache and check the page again (With VPN turned off)

Hey @jellizaveta - I've done that, and still getting the same issue.

It looks for now there are three workarounds:

  1. Remove Edge from the filtered applications
  2. Disable AdGuard completely
  3. Use AdGuard with AdGuard VPN

I'd like to note however, if I use AdGuard with Proton VPN or BitDefender VPN, I get the same error. It seems that there's some magic in AdGuard VPN that if used in conjunction with AdGuard, everything works properly.

Okay. Moved the issue to the relevant repository

Mmm, how is this completed?

The issue remains. The solutions are workarounds but not fixes.

It will be resolved here
