A cross button doesn't remove the text in the search field after collapsing the top of the screen

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Protection -> Ad blocking -> Language-specific ad blocking
2. Scroll down until the top is collapsed
3. Type "a" in the search field
4. Scroll up to return to the non-collapsed screen state
5. Tap on the cross in the search field
6. Type "b" without placing the cursor

Expected Behavior

The search field shows only "b", because "a" was removed.

Actual Behavior

The search field shows "ba".
